Organ Recital @ ONU, Bourbonnais, IL
The Ovid Young Memorial Organ Recital Series will present three noon concerts this Spring on the spectacular Ruffatti Pipe Organ at the Hawkins Centennial Chapel at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL.
The Second Concert in the Series will feature:
Dr. Rodney Loren, Faculty Member, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Peck School of the Arts.
In 2006, Rodney Loren, Ph.D., was named “Music Teacher of the Year” by the Milwaukee Civic Music Association. He was given this honor for his outstanding work in the field of music education.
Loren has been instrumental in writing and monitoring the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Arts in Community Education (ACE) curriculum. He teaches classes on elementary music methods and how to implement the ACE Program and in elementary schools. In addition to his teaching role, he is an accomplished organist.
