Fratelli Ruffatti Coming to GRAND RAPIDS

We are thrilled to announce the sale of a 39-rank, all-pipe, Fratelli Ruffatti Organ to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

This stunning new organ will have a specification similar to the new Ruffatti Organ installed at the Catholic Seminary in New Orleans. However it will incorporate a remote Positiv Division near the front of the worship space to support chant and choral music at the opposite end of the worship space.

The installation of the organ will be coordinated to take place next Summer during the church’s year long celebration of the 500th anniversary of the birth of Palestrina.

The organ was gifted to the church by the wife of Peter Secchia, who was the U.S. Ambassador to Italy during the Bush administration.  His family foundation has donated to many institutions in the state and beyond.
